Pricing

A platform fee, plus the labels and documents you render.

Your platform fee is a commitment, credited against your usage — not charged on top of it. Render more and the per-label rate drops. There are no per-printer fees and no per-seat licenses, because neither survives being resold or scaled.

How metering works

The rate goes down as the volume goes up.

Bands are applied to your annual render volume. Your platform fee is drawn down by usage first — you only pay above it once you've used it.

Annual rendersRateTypical profile
Up to 250KBand 1Single site, one integrated system
250K – 2MBand 2Multi-line or multi-site operation
2M – 10MBand 3Production dependency across several systems
10M+NegotiatedEmbedded or distributed at platform scale

Band rates are set per agreement. Tell us your projected volume and we'll price it in the first conversation rather than the fourth.

Questions

The things worth asking before you commit.

Is the free account really free, or is it a trial?
It's free and it doesn't expire. There's no print cap and no time limit. It's capped at five templates and one user, which is enough to build and validate a real integration but not enough to run an operation. If an account sits completely idle for 90 days we deactivate it — you'll get two emails first, and reactivation is one click with your templates and keys intact.
Why isn't ZPL watermarked on the free plan?
Because a watermarked thermal label is a broken artifact, not a limited one. You can't evaluate a label you can't actually print. PDF, PNG, and SVG output carries a mark on free accounts; ZPL does not.
What counts as a render?
One label or document produced in one output format. Requesting the same artifact as both ZPL and PDF is two renders. Reprinting from history is a render. Designing, editing, and previewing in the canvas are not.
What happens if our volume drops?
Your platform fee is a commitment. Usage draws it down, and it isn't refunded if you don't reach it. That's deliberate on both sides — it's what lets us hold band rates rather than repricing you every quarter.
Do we need the Design plan if we only use the API?
There's no such thing as an API-only account, because the templates the API renders have to be designed and maintained somewhere — and that somewhere is the canvas. Integrate includes everything in Design for exactly that reason.
Can we mix manual printing and API printing?
Yes, and you're not billed twice for it. A render is a render whether a person clicked or a system called. One platform fee covers templates, users, and governance regardless of what triggered the print.
How do we get pass-through field mapping?
It's included on Integrate. If you're evaluating and need it to assess fit, ask us and we'll enable it for your test account rather than have you guess. See compliance
